ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic) 3D printing material is resistant to UV rays, moisture and heat. Due to these properties, products printed from ASA can be operated in outdoor conditions, in the heat of the sun. Compared to ABS, ASA is easier to print, has less unpleasant smell, and less shrinkage of the cooled product. Products do not deform up to 94 ° C.
Recommendations for printing
- extruder temperature 220-250°C
- base temperature: 90-110°C
It is recommended to use ASA suspension (ASA plastic dissolved in acetone) for the initial adhesion of the product to the sole.
It is recommended to print in a closed chamber.
