Deutsch DT series connectors are designed for engine or transmission cables - cables for connections under the hood, on the chassis or in the cabin. Especially in circuits sensitive to signal attenuation, Deutsch DT series connectors ensure a reliable connection at the lowest price.

Using thermoplastic (-550 C to + 1250 C) housings and silicone seals, the connections withstand extreme temperature and humidity conditions. Connectors can use solid pure copper contacts for critical circuits or more wallet-friendly stamped contacts. Either way, the spring-loaded mechanism inside the contact with stainless steel protection ensures perfect contact and a guaranteed connection every time. No special tools are needed to insert or remove the contacts from the housing, and the contacts are held in the housing by the tongues of the housing itself. Finally, the contacts are fixed with separate locks. If the locks are not fully installed during assembly, they will automatically snap into place when the connector is connected.
